01
Does FjordHub integrate with our payroll software?
Yes. FjordHub exports approved time data directly to Visma Horizon, Tilde, and other ERP systems.
02
How quickly can FjordHub be set up?
Quickly, because there is no waiting for hardware: we import sites and employees from an Excel file, every employee receives the app link or a QR code by SMS and can start clocking in the same day. Kiosks and NFC chips are added as needed, site by site. Setup and initial configuration are agreed individually.
03
Can employees clock in without a smartphone?
Yes. Employees can record their working time both in the phone app and at a FjordHub kiosk on site, by tapping their chip or scanning their personal QR code. Both can be used at the same time: part of the team clocks in on the phone, part at the kiosk, and all the data ends up in one system.
04
How does FjordHub ensure compliance with local labor laws?
The system calculates overtime, night hours, and work on public holidays by itself, automatically deducts the lunch break, and rounds time according to your company's rules. While scheduling, it monitors weekly rest time and warns about scheduling above the norm. Each country has its own public holiday calendar, and every change to the data stays in a full audit history, so everything is traceable in an inspection.
05
What if an employee forgets to clock in or out?
Nothing is lost. If an employee forgets to clock out, the system closes the record automatically, and a manager can edit, merge, or delete the record with a note — and every action can be undone. Discrepancies between plan and actuals appear in a separate anomaly report, so they don't slip through.
06
Can one employee work at several sites?
Yes. Employees can be shared between sites and departments, scheduled by zone and region, and all hours worked accumulate in one profile regardless of where they were worked. Several companies can also be managed on one platform, each with its own feature settings.
07
Can a manager see who is at work right now?
Yes, in real time. Each site has an overview of who is currently at work, who hasn't clocked in, and who arrived early or left late. In an emergency, employees can mark “I'm safe,” and the manager sees the whole team's status in one view.
08
How do employees apply for shifts and register absences?
In the phone app. An employee sees open shifts and applies for them; the manager approves or declines — all requests at once, if needed. Absences are registered with more than 30 types (sickness, vacation, business trip, remote work, and more), which can be customized for the company, and the remaining vacation balance is visible in the app.
